6 Dead Cats 8-3-2020

Tuesdsay morning we got a text from member that we had a lesson with recently asking us to call her. When we called her and she asked us if we could help 2 ladies clean out a house of someone who had died recently. After changing, we go over and when we get there they tell us to come back at 11. The member who texted then said they would get us lunch and drinks for us and the ladies. When we come back at 11, they say come back at 1 so we went home and grabbed our Chipotle (my first time having Chipotle in around a year). When we got there at 1, they aren't there but the Uhaul they were putting things in was gone so we figured they were going to be back soon 30 minutes later they come back and so we help load up again. The lady that had owned the house and died was a hoarder and they found 6 dead cats in the basement and it smelled really bad outside. Wednesday we had Zone Conference which was really good. Buffalo But No Antelope - 7-27-2020

  Tuesday morning we went and helped remove some fence posts that had rotted through and dug up and broke the concrete it was in. I got use a mini jackhammer for the first time which was interesting. We also had a family we are teaching order some Crumbl Cookies for us which was super nice of them. Wednesday had two exciting things happen. First, we had a lesson wit h Elder F's former bishop. When we were talking we discovered that they had lived in my ward back home when I was 1 to about 3 years old which was pretty cool. Second, we were in a lesson with a member and they shared a scripture how Gods hand is always reached out to us to forgive us. All the sudden the scene from Madagascar popped into my head where Alex (the lion) is telling Marty (the zebra) "you bit the hand, Marty" saying since he hurt someone trying to help him, the help was retracted. Unlike Alex, God will never retract his hand from us. He is always ready to forgive and help us.  Nothing too excit...
