6 Dead Cats 8-3-2020

Tuesdsay morning we got a text from member that we had a lesson with recently asking us to call her. When we called her and she asked us if we could help 2 ladies clean out a house of someone who had died recently. After changing, we go over and when we get there they tell us to come back at 11. The member who texted then said they would get us lunch and drinks for us and the ladies. When we come back at 11, they say come back at 1 so we went home and grabbed our Chipotle (my first time having Chipotle in around a year). When we got there at 1, they aren't there but the Uhaul they were putting things in was gone so we figured they were going to be back soon 30 minutes later they come back and so we help load up again. The lady that had owned the house and died was a hoarder and they found 6 dead cats in the basement and it smelled really bad outside.

Wednesday we had Zone Conference which was really good. We talked a lot about Christ's Atonement and what it means that He felt our infirmities. We talked about how infirmities are the disadvantages and weaknesses and how sometimes we have no control over them (like things like being short and stuff like that) but how they still are things that hurt us. Even silly things like that Christ felt and understands.

Thursday we had a call with M and read and talked about the Articles of Faith. I have really begun to appreciate how awesome and simple those declarations of things we believe as member of Christ's church.

Friday we went on exchanges which was a lot of fun. After some lessons, we went on a walk outside and talked to some people outside which was fun.

Saturday we did lots of service. In the morning we begun a project to build a shed. The foundation we were going to build on wasn't the right shape or level enough so we spend most of the time leveling it our and making it the right shape. It was 100 degrees outside so we were dying. In the evening we helped hand out ice cream and popsicles at a ward ice cream social and thankfully it had cooled down a little bit. There were some people playing volleyball nearby after so we played a little while we waited for our ride to come.

Quote of the Week: "He needs to run more"

Miracle of the Week: We had a good amount of service this week which was fantastic.
