A Lot Of Walks 8/31/2020

Tuesday morning we went to the pharmacy at walmart which was exciting. It's pretty funny when something like going to pick up a prescription is an adventure. We also went to one of our church buildings and did work from there for a large chunk of the day.

Wednesday all of our lessons cancelled which was actually pretty funny. When we were waiting to see if the last one would show we were like are we going to complete the sweep? We did have a meeting with a bishop and talked about how we can help the youth out and made a bunch of calls to set up lessons and service.

Thursday had a meeting with all the members of the Elders Quorum and introduced ourselves before sharing a little lesson with them. We also had another lesson with K and talked about the Restoration. When we talked about the Priesthood he was like when can I get baptized which was super awesome.

Friday we went up to the mission office it was nice to see some people we wouldn't normally see. In the afternoon we had District Council and Elder V drank an energy drink for the first time and was going crazy the entire time which was pretty funny. In the evening we went on a walk with the other missionaries in our apartment and talked to people that we saw.

Sunday we only went to 1 sacrament meeting. We were super busy for most of the day in meetings with ward leaders and our stake leaders. We had a couple lessons with some ward leaders as well and they went really well.

Quote of the Week: "This will be my first year of 3th grade"

Miracle of the Week: Some people we are teaching had a rough past but we found out that it wasn't anything that would keep them from or make it harder for them to be baptized.

Pictures (hopefully in order):

1. The cow horse

2. A record player we found at a garage sale

3. A cat just chilling
