Cause You're Hot Then You're Cold... 10-12-2020

Tuesday we spent lots of the day in the area which was a good time. We had an in person lesson with an old couple who were pretty fun. After we went next door to an Italian cafe for dinner which was good but a little expensive.

Wednesday we had a youth devotional in the evening so we planned everything for it. However Elder V had a fever and a headache so we ended up cancelling a couple hours before (I felt bad for throwing the bishop under the bus to deal with that but we didn't have any other options). The other lessons we had that day I did with other missionaries as Elder V was incapacitated.

Thursday Elder V still had a fever so nothing too crazy happened. We did a lot of planning and K passed his interview. On the recommendation of Evan I marinated some pork chops and had them. 10/10 would recommend.

Friday went and got Elder V tested for covid. He felt better today but had already scheduled the test and was like might as well just in case.

Saturday Elder V wasn't feeling well again so we stayed inside all day. It was also K baptism so we had to scramble and figure out how to get everything figured out without us being there which was hectic but fortunately it was in the afternoon which gave us time to make calls and figure everything out. The baptism was awesome to watch and K was so happy afterwards. It was also his birthday as well which made it better.

Sunday we shocked a lot of people when we showed up to church. We got the test results back Saturday night and they were negative so we went out and 4 of our wards. They announced that they are changing the stake boundaries in a couple weeks which will be interesting for us to see how that works. We got to see K at church in person for only the 3rd time which was awesome.

Miracle of the Week: We were walking around our area one evening and a car pulled over. It was an older couple who we had talked to about their daughter in law who has siblings living with her that want to learn about the church. We chatted with them and set up a time to meet with them and the daughter in law the next day.

Quote of the Week: "¿Donde aprendiste español? Muy poco."
