🎶 I Looked Out The Window And What Did I See🎶 1-11-2021

I totally forgot to say this a couple weeks ago but thank you to everyone who sent me stuff over the holidays! I had a great time and really appreciated everything I got.

On Tuesday we had District Council and it was pretty funny. Most of the time since I am (as the district leader) leading District Council, I usually give one of the trainings if not multiple. However, this time I assigned them all to other people and so when the AP's (the young missionaries who have stewardship over the entire mission) showed up, I didn't have to do anything really. One of the missionaries who was giving a training has only been on her mission for a couple months and she said she almost passed out. She didn't and gave a great training fortunately.

Wednesday I helped Elder C memorize the First Vision in English which was lots of fun. We also were able to have another lesson with 2 people learning about the church. We talked about the Book of Mormon and prayer and then a little about baptism. It went really well and we are super excited for our next lesson with them.

Thursday we had a lesson with this awesome couple in the evening. As we were talking to them we found out that they had both played lacrosse which was lots of fun to talk about with them since lacrosse isn't very big in Utah.

Friday we were able to walk someone's dog for them which was a lot of fun. I had never walked a dog since we have never had one but we had a good time doing it and got to wander around or area which was good.

Saturday I went on exchanges with Elder H. We had a good time working and we even went with a member to visit some people to try to meet them. After, the member told us a cool experience he had that same day with inviting his sister to meet with missionaries and be baptized.

Sunday was super hectic. Were in meetings all day and were so busy we didn't have a chance to grab lunch until 3 and that was only a 10ish minute gap to shove some food down. We had a meeting with the primary aged kids in our area and that went really well from what we figured. We talked about repentance and read a story from the scriptures before doing a magic trick to give them a visual example. We also went with one of our Ward Mission Leaders to visit some people which was lots of fun.

Miracle of the Week: We were able to find access to computers to use to help us organize information! It's a little bit of a hike (thankfully we have a car) but it allows us to use the computers as long as we need which is nice.

Quote of the Week: "[Satan] can't produce the real thing, he cannot conquer if we will it otherwise"

Pictures (hopefully in order):
