Tuesday
before District Council we got together and had a pancake breakfast with the
district which was a good time. During district council we talked about how to
be better teachers and skills than we can work on and improve. When we finished
and said the closing prayer, the sisters pulled out their silly string that we
had given them a couple weeks ago and sprayed us. One of the cans didn't work
right so instead of string it shot out the fluid everywhere (see pictures
below). We ended up having to go to the dry cleaners for our suits. Before that
we also took funeral pictures [i.e. end of mission pictures] for Sister L who is going home tomorrow. In
the evening we had an appointment with H and K. We had to push back
the baptism for them since they haven't been able to go to church and they
weren't super happy about that.
Wednesday
we called lots of people before walking someone's dog during the afternoon.
During the walk, the dog slipped out of it's harness and started running and so
we had to chase it down and put the harness back on which was really funny.
Thursday
we did a lot more calls and did another dog walk. We have figured out when the
best time to go on our dog walks is so that the most amount of people will be
out and about.
Friday
nothing exciting happened.

Saturday
we went with one of our ward mission leaders to visit some people that we
didn't know who they were. The funny things was that we had asked him what time
we could go and he responded the next day, are you free in 5 minutes. We
fortunately were and so we went and were able to go. We went to the family
history center to call people and while we were there, we heard someone knock
on the door. We were told not to let anyone in so we ignored it. They kept
knocking and knocking so we opened the door and it was some of the sister from
our district. I was like how did you know we were here? They were like your car
is outside and we saw a tiwi in it. After we had finished all our appointments
and contacts, we went and got our revenge for the sisters ambush at district
council as well as delivered Fiiz. The first one they figured out that we were
going to silly string them but the second one went perfectly. We knocked on the
door and had the other elders hiding around the corner. We told them that we
had mail in the car and need their help grabbing it. They asked if the other
elders were waiting in the car to ambush them. We said no (because they were
around the corner not in the car). As we were walking to the car, the other
elder snuck up behind them and we turned and sprayed the sisters. Unfortunately
no pictures since it was dark outside.

Sunday
we had lots of meetings and stuff. We didn't end up eating lunch. We had a 15
break at 3 and then had dinner at 5. We were able to attend missionary prep
which was good and also had a lesson with couple preparing for the temple and
had a good conversation about the 3 witnesses of the gold plates.
Quote
of the Week: "Your 4 and half simps are back at it again with the
packages"
Miracle
of the Week: One night we had a really hard lesson. Things didn't go well and
we were feeling really down about things. We had another appointment fairly
soon afterwards. It was a really good appointment and the spirit was really
good. It helped me feel like I wasn't a failure and that things would be okay.
It really helped me feel that God is aware of me and all of us. He knows what
we need and how to help us when we are feeling down.
