Tuesday nothing much happened.
Wednesday we had some service helping out a family build a tree house. The name is slightly misleading since it is on the ground but it is being built in a copse of trees for the kids to play in. We helped dig out the 4 holes where the posts were going. We also had a lesson with someone we are teaching which went well.
Thursday we decided to show up to a family's house who their dad is getting home from deployment. We showed up and were planning on starting to help out with the yard. When we showed up the mom walked out of the house to go shopping and we were able to chat with her for a little and get to know her which was awesome. We also had a lesson where we taught the plan of salvation with a sister about to leave on her mission to her mom. It was pretty funny.
Thursday night our landlords dog (Hope) started going beserk at 2am and barked nonstop till about 5:30 so we didn't much sleep so we had to take a nap to recover on Friday. We then went and did some yardwork for a old lady. We had a lesson with someone we are teaching that went super well. From what I have heard about the other ones, it was one of the best.
Saturday we did service almost all day. We went and helped someone we are teaching clear out their shed and organize things and throw things away. They had 2 dogs that were super fun. Then we went and helped out the mom we helped Thursday. This time when we showed up, she had a bunch of family over helping paint. They were pretty much done so we kept weeding the yard. Saturday night we let Hope out and she pooped 3 times and we ran her around so she didn't bark at 2:30am. We were very happy about that.
Sunday we actually only went to 1.5 sacrament meetings. We had a bunch of other meetings with ward mission leaders and ward councils that kept us busy. We also had a lesson with one of our newer bishops and his family. We talked about repentance and used the same fire trick that went horrible last time and set a fire but this time it went perfectly. We had a funny conversation with the bishop about who had been to more meetings and did the math that we had about the same hours at meetings (about 8 hours when we had the lesson).
