Deflate Gate: Pumkin Edition 12/23/2019

Tuesday morning we went to a senior center and helped the people there do some exercises. Then we had a meeting with the senior couple over lunch. We taught them the restoration so they can have an idea of how to do it. After that, we went and shared the Christmas message with people. Then we had a lesson with D where we talked about commandments. After, we went and played volleyball.

Wednesday we went to a different senior center and made puzzles and played go fish. We shared the Christmas message with the B family and contacted a bunch of people. My nose started bleeding right before we had a meeting with one of our bishops. In the evening we were freezing and needed to go to the bathroom so we went to a grocery store and went to the bathroom before buying ice cream.

Thursday we ran into the 2 cutest dogs I've ever seen and it was funny because they were behind a fence that was so short that when they stood up on their hind legs, they were a foot over it but they were super chill. We talked to to someone who used to be taught and they were interested in being taught again which was awesome. In the evening D was interviewed for baptism.

Friday morning we had district council. Our district leader was sick so he had everyone give a 5 minute training on something. After that, we went and helped W move some furniture. Then we went and made programs for the baptism and let people know about it. After dinner, we had a lesson with a recent convert about his baptism and the temple. It was weird because the mom cancelled the lesson then in 10 minutes uncancelled a lesson which never happens. I'm not complaining though.

Saturday morning we went and helped load some bags of leaves into a truck. The first bag I picked up ripped and dumped a bunch of nasty water all over my jeans. After that we changed and went to another senior center and played a trivia game with an old lady. Then we ran and set up for the baptism. The baptism went well and I had a big grin on my face the whole time. That evening we had a Christmas party at the window house where we played pool.

Sunday we went to our 3 sacrament meetings and some of the people we invited to come came which was nice. In one of the meetings, 2 people preformed the Piano Guys version of O come, O come, Emmanuel which was super pretty and made me tear up. D was confirmed during the meeting and W expressed a desire to go to the temple which was awesome. The missionary who baptized D's brother 5ish years ago baptized and confirmed D.

Miracle of the week: Sunday Evening we had nothing to do after dinner. We came out and were tired and didn't want to do anything. We were walking around when we had the thought to go visit someone we were teaching that is hard to catch at home. We went and had an awesome lesson about the importance of prophets and apostles.

Quote of the Week: "We're in America, sing in Fahrenheit!"

Pictures (hopefully in order):
1. What we call "the window house"
2-3. D's baptism
4. Tom Brady's pumpkins
5-7. The best dog ever
