Tuesday morning we had a meeting with our district. President McConkie came and talked about the importance of sharing the Restoration which was awesome. After, we did service in this lady's backyard. We later had a lesson with L and some of his recent convert relatives where we talked about the restoration and the miracle that was the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. After that, there was a relief society event going on and we dropped in for a little bit. While we were getting hot chocolate, a lady came up to us and she told us that she worked in the missionary department and we had a good conversation with her about the recent changes and missionary work in Utah. Wednesday I failed to write much in my journal so this is what I have. In the morning we went to the food bank. Another pair of Elders showed up that weren't supposed to be there so they got booted out by the boss there which was pretty funny. After that they had some steak that they couldn't give out...

I feel like I have been shocked 50% of the time that flick a light switch which is getting annoying. Monday evening we had a lesson with R and finished teaching her the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We then recommitted her to come to D's baptism on Saturday. Later, we had a ministering presentation with a family which was funny because one of the kids kept humming and hawing and didn't want to commit to our invitation.  Tuesday morning we went and raked leaves for a lady who takes care of her mom. Later we had another Zone Conference singing rehearsal which was painful because it took 3 hours to run through the song 3 times (the song is only about 3 minutes long) which was a huge waste of time. Dinner that night we had Brazilian Stroganoff which was excellent. We crushed potato chips over it and everything. Then we went and contacted someone to set up a lesson but was there for 45 minutes because the mom liked to talk. Later we planned for and had a meeting ...

Monday we got a haircut from a member. Later we went to a trunk or treat from the branch (mini ward) which was freezing cold. I went as a Man in Black. Tuesday we went to the Hospital to fix the bill from last time we went. Apparently the hospital had goofed and failed to send the entire bill to the church so they could actually pay for most of it. After that, we went to the DI and did service there. Then we went to a rehearsal for a zone conference musical number for Elder W and 3 others. Dinner we got taken to Barbacoa which is basically a Utah Chipotle which was pretty good. That evening we had a meeting with the Stake Young Men's president about and idea we had for an activity. The temperature was 10 degrees with wind chill. Service we went to the food pantry and helped people put their food in their cars. for dinner we went to the G's who we ate with the 2nd day of my mission. Monday evening we had a doughnut party at a members house and I had 6 home made doughnuts which were amazing. Tuesday we went an washed windows for an couple. Their windows hadn't been washed it over 20 years or something like that. Then we helped them tear up their blackberry bushes. Afterwards they got us Wendy's which was nice. We then went and visited H who Elder G and I met a couple weeks ago. We knocked on the door and her mom answered. Her mom isn't supportive of the church and wanted to make sure H really wanted to meet with us so she told us she would text us. Then after dinner, we went and visited some people with B. Then on the way to return a bowl that the M's gave us dinner in, I got a flat tire so we had to get a nearby member to drive us back. Wednesdsay we went to the food pantry and helped give the food out to the people who came. Then we went with Elder G and Elder Cto a lesson and gave a mock baptismal interview to someone. For the rest of Monday, we went to a member's mansion in North Salt Lake which was enourmous. The had 2 pools, tennis courts, a raquetball court, golf simulator, shuffle board, ping pong, and arcade games. It was lots of fun. Afterwards, our ride got lost so we had to give him directions to there. That evening, we went to the G's and Elder W called home to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. Tuesday we did service for the guy with the shed. We picked up things from his storage unit and loaded them in his truck then drove them to his house and put them in the shed. We had to take 3 or 4 trips and we found a dead mouse in the carpet which was exciting. We found it right after someone joked about a dead rat. We had dinner at Sizzler and I got a bacon wrapped steak which was amazing. Later we had a lesson with R about the Preisthood. Our lesson was super confusingly given but R is so awesome that he understood a lot of what we were saying which was it's own little miracle.  ...

In the rest of Monday we went and visited a less active lady named T. She was super nice and told us all about her horse and her horse riding competitions which was pretty cool. We had to keep it short because the people we were going to bring with us didn't come so we couldn't go into her house (We can't go in a house if there is just a lady or kids there. There has to be an adult male above 18 to go for safety reasons. After that, we went and gave our ministering presentation to the new Stake President after he had canceled the last 2 times. Tuesday morning I got up and made some crock pot chicken and mixed vegetables with Italian dressing. Not sure how much to use, I dumped the whole bottle of Italian dressing in. While it cooked we went to district council and had interviews with President Call. When we got back, the entire apartment smelled really strongly of Italian dressing.
