Tuesday we had District Council and interviews with President Call. It was great to meet with President Call for an interview. It had been a while since I had one with him but we had a good chat about my studies of the scriptures and of Christ. For District Council we had one of our ward mission leaders come and he helped us practice talking to people in person.   Wednesday we ran some errands in the morning including going to the mission office for mail which was good. In the afternoon we did some service walking some dogs which was a lot fun. While walking we discovered some other sisters in the district were also walking a dog and so we went and "ran" into them which was pretty funny. Their dog was probably a fourth the size of the dog I was walking (who we affectionately called Burnt Sausage) but yipped and tried to bite her anyways (see pure evil picture).   Thursday we went on exchanges.  I totally forgot to say this a couple weeks ago but thank you to everyone who sent me stuff over the holidays! I had a great time and really appreciated everything I got.   On Tuesday we had District Council and it was pretty funny. Most of the time since I am (as the district leader) leading District Council, I usually give one of the trainings if not multiple. However, this time I assigned them all to other people and so when the AP's (the young missionaries who have stewardship over the entire mission) showed up, I didn't have to do anything really. One of the missionaries who was giving a training has only been on her mission for a couple months and she said she almost passed out. She didn't and gave a great training fortunately.    Wednesday I helped Elder C memorize the First Vision in English which was lots of fun. Tuesday we went on exchanges with the Zone leaders for a couple hours which was lots of fun. We spent a decent amount of time getting to know each other since I didn't know the one I was with very well. We also showed the secret room in our church building which they thought was pretty exciting. Wednesday we had Zone Conference in the morning which was a good time. We talked about the 57 subtopics of Jesus Christ in the topical guide. Some people shared some scriptures that had struck them and we talked about that. Thursday was New Years Eve. I went on exchanges with Elder N for the whole day. We had planned on working on our area map but when we got to the library they said they were closing in 30 minutes which was very disappointing. When we were getting dinner from Tonyburgers my trainer's trainer showed up and so we were able to take a posterity picture. Tuesday we had ZLC so I got to see the other District Leaders in the Zone. It was really good and insightful. We talked about and set goals for the Zone. We also looked at how the zone is doing. In the past two months, our Zone has exploded which has been super awesome to see. It has been super exciting to see that happen since I have gotten in Centerville. In the evening we went caroling with another family which was lots of fun. Their kids were super fun. At one point they were worried about being cold so I told them to hop up and down to warm up. We ended up having 4 people hopping up and down outside a door which was hilarious. We also had a meeting with the Stake President and shared some of plans with him which he had some good ideas.   Tuesday we had transfers! The whole morning was just running back and forth taking people to new areas and things like that. When we got back I have a new companion! Elder C is from Iowa. He is pretty tall and I am super excited for this transfer! We went on a walk and showed him all of our buildings we cover. Wednesday we drove back to Clinton to grab the rest of Elder C's stuff. On the way back we swung by ocean mart and I bought some rice and aloe drink. Also, J is planning on getting baptized Sunday!   Thursday we had another road trip. This time to the mission office and we picked up packages since we would be seeing the district later. Then we got lunch at a diner that gave us it for free which was awesome. We made sure to tip a lot. After some planning we went on a walk. In the evening we picked up Fiiz (fancy soda) and delivered it to the district along with the packages we had picked up earlier.
